A flat-felled (or tucked) seam starts by stitching the fabric’s wrong sides together, ensuring one seam allowance is larger than the other. The larger allowance is then folded over the shorter one and stitched in place. Finally, the seam is flattened against the shorter seam allowance and stitched once more to secure everything neatly.
